Kisho Luxe was created from a love of beauty, a passion for creativity, and a belief that luxury should make you feel like the very best version of yourself.

But more than that, Kisho Luxe was created from a dream.

A dream that started long before the name Kisho Luxe existed — during my journey as a makeup artist, working with women, creating looks, learning what makes someone feel beautiful and, most importantly, discovering just how powerful makeup can be.

For me, makeup has never simply been about putting products on a face. It is about confidence. Expression. Transformation. It is about the moment someone looks in the mirror and thinks, “Wow. I feel good.”

And the lips have always been one of my favourite parts of that transformation.

My journey began with makeup artistry.

Through years of creating looks and experimenting with products, I became increasingly aware of what I wanted from my own beauty products — products that were beautiful, effortless, flattering and genuinely exciting to use.

I wanted luxury without complication.

I wanted products that could stand alone, but also work beautifully together.

And I wanted shades that made women feel seen.

That desire eventually became Kisho Luxe.

What started as an idea became a brand built around my vision of Black excellence and soft-girl luxury — rich, warm, feminine and unapologetically beautiful.

But there is another reason Kisho Luxe exists.

My daughter.

Becoming a mother changed the way I looked at my dreams.

I want my daughter to grow up knowing that she doesn’t have to choose between being a mother and being ambitious. That she can nurture a family, build something of her own, change direction, start again and still chase every dream in her heart.

I want her to see me building something and know that dreams aren’t just things we wish for — they’re things we can work towards.

There have been moments when this journey has felt overwhelming. Moments of doubt. Moments when the easier thing would have been to put the dream aside.

But every time I look at my daughter, I am reminded of why I started.

I want her to grow up watching her mother create.

Watching her mother believe.

Watching her mother take an idea and turn it into something real.

And one day, when she has a dream of her own, I want her to know that she can do the same.

If she remembers one thing, I hope it’s this: you are never too much of a dreamer, and it’s never too late to begin.

Kisho Luxe is more than makeup to me.

It is a piece of a dream that I carried for years.

It is my creativity, my experience as a makeup artist, my love of beauty and my desire to create something that makes women feel incredible.

And above all, it is a message:
